With over 30 years Retail & Kiltmaking experience, Tyneside Tartans is East Lothian's Premier Kiltmaker.

Situated in the East Lothian market town of Haddington, we are a manufacturer of hand-made kilts & highland wear. We also provide a local hire service from our retail outlet. Our business has grown on our principles of excellent service and sound advice to all of our customers.

Quality of our Kilts
All of our cloths come directly from weaving mills which have been producing high quality cloths for generations.

We stock three weights of cloth.

Lightweight
Ideal for Country Dancing Kilts or kilts for children. This cloth is more commonly used for accessories such as ties, scarves, sashes etc.

Middleweight
Ideal cloth weight for mens' kilts. Provides an excellent edge pleat and good shape. Will last for many years

Heavyweight
Top grade cloth. Too heavy for normal use, but excellent wear and shape
